Corrections process

Report a factual, source, translation, accessibility, or broken-link problem through the contact page. Do not include SSNs, case numbers, medical details, financial account data, or other sensitive information.

1. 1. Triage

   We identify the affected claim, risk level, source, and whether the page should be temporarily restricted.

2. 2. Verify

   We check the responsible primary source and distinguish a factual error from a state-specific or individual exception.

3. 3. Correct

   We change the relevant passage, source, metadata, translation status, or link. A review date changes only when the page has actually been re-reviewed.

4. 4. Prevent recurrence

   We update the related content pattern or automated validation when the same issue could affect other pages.
